If you want to know more about Madeira Wine, this museum is a ‘must see’. Opened in 1984, in this space you will find anything from pictures to machinery, ethnographic objects all related to the culture and production of wine. In this museum there is an exhibition of permanent photography, which depicts the winemaking activity in Madeira.

The Regional Directorate for Culture promotes the Madeira Organ Festival, organizing a set of twelve concerts, headlined by nationally and internationally renowned Master Organ players.

The Columbus Festival is based on the historical re-enactment of the time when this Genoese merchant lived on the island of Porto Santo.
